Are you over the holidays and having trouble getting into a schedule? Here's how to do it with the right sleep schedule!
I know it! It's hard! The vacation days are ending and leaving behind - apart from a lot of unwashed - a general bittersweet feeling. And this, because the good times of fun were many and satisfying, but the return to the routine is approaching and you are afraid that he/she will find you unprepared... Worst of all? The morning awakening!
So how do you get back into the program? The sleep experts of Orion Strom share with you the secrets of a smooth return to everyday sleep.
- Full and incremental reset
- Don't freak out!
- Create an atmosphere
- A well-ventilated bedroom. Fresh air better oxygenates the brain and allows smooth transitions between alertness and complacency.
- Don't eat heavily and don't drink too much before bed. The fact that you almost passed out and fell into bed with your clothes on after the New Year's Eve doesn't mean that you rested and certainly such a "routine" is not a sustainable solution for your everyday life.
- Don't forget physical exercise. You have tried all the possible and paradoxical sleeping and resting positions in bed, on the sofa, in the armchair, on a pouf, in a recliner, etc. But both your body and your mind need exercise to keep them healthy and active. Even a long walk at a brisk pace will make a difference.
- Turn off the light baby! Dim lighting, quiet and a stable, relatively low temperature are the best climate to enjoy a good night's sleep. Turn off the cell phone - even if it's making a lot of noise! - and the big lamp in the living room. Prefer a book and relaxing music, snuggle up and you'll soon have sweet dreams!
